The Eastern Christian New Media Awards began in 2008 as an opportunity for quality Eastern Christian outlets to gain higher visibility on the Internet. The awards are open to all Eastern Christian blogs regardless of affiliation. Eastern Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, Eastern Catholic, Assyrian Church of the East et al. are welcome and encouraged to be submitted for voting.
The respective awards categories are nominated by people from all over the world. After a period of time the nominations are closed and the nominations lists are finalized. The nominees are then voted on for some weeks. Finally, the winners are announced and - with the gracious aid of our sponsors - prizes are sent out.
